Workshop on e-Learning Tools for Collaborative Reference Services

UPLSAA is teaming up with Senco Link Technologies to offer an intensive workshop on using e-learning tools to conceptualize and design collaborative reference services for libraries and their communities.

We invite the most creative and eager librarians out there to join us on December 4-5, 2017 at Woohoo Learning Lab in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

UPLSAA Kickstarts the Series on e-Learning Technologies for Libraries at the 38th Manila International Book Fair

The series on e-Learning Technologies was kickstarted by UPLSAA with a forum entitled Emerging e-Learning Technologies in Libraries last 14 September 2017 at the 38th Manila International Book Fair at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

UPLSAA members and distinctive guests were treated to three standing-room-only, power packed sessions, with 237 forum participants, each with a focused objective:

Session 1: Provide participants the knowledge of e-learning technologies; 

Section 2: Share examples of these e-learning technologies; and

Emerging e-Learning Technologies in Libraries

We invite you to join us and our speakers on September 14, 2017 (Thursday) as we talk about emerging e-learning technologies and their potentials in enhancing library services. The forum will be at 1:00 PM at Meeting Rooms 7-8, SMX Convention Center Manila.

Forum fee: PHP400.00 (PHP300.00 for undergraduate students)

UPLSAA 2017-2018 Executive Board Election

The UPLSAA is very pleased to announce the winners of the 2017-2018 Executive Board Elections. The UPLSAA received 13 nominations and all nominees accepted. The UPLSAA members were asked to vote 7 nominees, out of the 13 nominated, to be part of the Executive Board 2017-2018. The elections ran from May 26 to June 09, 2017.
